SOLAR WEST SOLARSCREEN COLOR CARD 

All sunscreen colors come in 1%, 3% or 5% openness.  The larger the number, the more open the fabric.  For example, a black out fabric would be 0% open, and a screen door might be 25% open.  Below are some examples where you might use various openness factors:

      1% - Used for privacy, no view, lets some light through.

      3% - Used for living area needing sun blocking for TV or Computer                              viewing.  Provides nice view, some privacy.

      5% - Used for living area needing less sun blocking, provides more view                   and less privacy.
